At Pajala Huskies, we welcome you to our home, we are a small, local family-owned kennel specializing in Huskies. Located in the picturesque town of Pajala in the Eastern North of Swedish Lapland, near the Finnish border.
Close to Ylläsjärvi and Äkäslompolo are we offer unforgettable dog sledding tours.
Our tours are suitable for everyone, from small to large families, including children and small to large groups.

Our story
Our family includes me (Melina), Roger my husband, our daughter Laura,
our German Shepherd Aska and of course our small team of Sleddogs.
Melina - " I have worked all my life with dogs and Sleddogs has ben a huge part all the time sence I was a small girl. In 2010, I started to work full time with sled dogs in Finland. I always worked for big kennels as a guide, but at the same time, I was dreaming about my own team and missing Swedish Lapland. That's why I slowly started creating my own kennel.
2019 we moved back to a small village named KIEKSIÄISVAARA where my husband is from, here in Pajala in North of Swedish Lapland and we are in midle of the Torne Valley.
Our daughter and few new generation of Husky puppies have ben already born here.
And here we are now, excited to offer and share genuine, small groups and private sleddog tours with our loving Huskies for everyone; from our closest neighbors to small or big groups, in remote wildernes areas."
